Chapter#43

Hi guys!

So a couple chapters back I showed you guys this~

Well, it was pretty much finished and I was gonna post it up and all, but a day before 

I could, I had a talk with my brother in law about Steve Jobs; legendary man who 

created Apple. 

At first I wasn't very amused or interested in him at first (since I haven't actually 

purchased any of his products (i own an iPod but that was a gift..)) but something 

tickled my nerves and I decided to do abit of research on him via the net, which led to

Youtube...He was apparently a very crude, if anything, mean, yet a very inspiring

man. He had alot of deflects, but his vision is what drove people to buy his products.

Using Steve Jobs as a figure of inspiration, I went on and expanded the design of

my creation. Instead of the head, I went on and created the whole~

So first, I used the head as a guideline to the angle and perspective of the rest of 

the body. At first for the rough sketch it looked like that.

PRETTY PRETTYFULS AYE??? 

After that, I started on the design stage, aka the fun stage!~ Remember to always

keep loose when designing as getting too focused can ruin your flow of creativity,

equalizing! Block! So yeah, it started to look like this.

After that I decided to clean things up and refine it abit so we know exactly what

and where is at~ This is probably the best and last time you get to resize and 

adjust the image, so you better decide if you're happeh with the image now! :D

And finally, the coloring stage!~ Yayyy funn~ Don't forget to shade as well

on another layer setting the gray tone to Multiply for the shade look~

Finally, we got this!~ Almost done!~

So overall, that took 40ish hours of work...Thank you, Steve Jobs. Lol.

Chapter#42

Not in the loveliest of moods as I write this...Oh well, anywaiiz~

So shortly after finishing the course I put myself to the test and quickly whipped up

a drawing~ Testing to see how fast I can draw now...
Now I know most of you guys reading probably aren't into aliens...And neither am I...

But I decided to draw one anyway, cause of a recent idea I had which i couldn't get

out of my mind...So try bare with me? If not, you can skip this post, cause this post

is All About Aliens!~ xD

Not really alien like...But whatever!!!! ):

Took like, what? 1.5 - 2 hours each? Record time for me P: Which is sad.

Knowing people can probably do this in an hour or less time given.

So that's Garuel...Yes, I named the bugga~ He's some kind of alien with four eyes

and gills as part of his 3 senses; taste, smell, and a sense of its own which enables

'im to feel the air vibrations around it so it can visually picture its surrounding environment~

After doing those two images I wanted to do a close up version~

I was pretty much aiming for a 'character design sheet' look~ 

But, I kinda got carried away and I got lost in the Matrix...

So first it started like this....

Honestly, right after I did that, I was like what am I doing...Looks terrible!!~

But whatever I said!~ Just keep on, truckin'!~

The next thing I knew I rendered / cleaned up the whole thing O,O"

Didn't know I could do that with black and white, Lol!~ I guess I learned something

from painting Space Boy! :D

^ Lololol, looks so silly now that I look at it...LOL, its so ugleh. ^

I was surprised although I was able to do that all on 1-2 layers! O:

Pretty alright~

After that, I just hit the colors and slapped it on on another layer with the layer set to color~

And then yeah...I just touched it up from there...

Concept was he had the top 2 eyes transplanted, and when the bottom two eyes

cry, the top one cries too but blood, not tears...~ And yeah, those little funny looking

fin thingies are the sensors which look pretty gay now \:

It looked better in my head...In the reality in my thoughts...Haha~

Chapter#41

The Last Lessonnn-zzzz!!! In one!~ :P
So I'm just gonna put the last few remaining classes together into one post cause...
No point leaving it in 2 or 3 since...The tutorial for it is pretty long and/..*sniffles.
Probably no one will use emmm!!~ O;

So anyway!~ We learned how to use a variety of textures for Lesson 6!~
Many (all) of which, I will not explain because that will take just too damn long ):
So yeah! Basically for this assignment I had to use 7!! different type of brushes
to make an image~ Which was a real pain in the face to do!~ (My eyesss!!)
I couldn't really think of what to do, so I started off with a circle..
Then kept going from there till...

I got this!~

Yeah...A random egg in the middle of a stampede...full of, DINOSAURSS!!! :D:D
Probably the most realistic piece of art I've made me whole life...Prob the last?
Came out unexpectedly too~ I thought this piece was kinda kool since everything 

even the brushes (which I'm new to) was made by me...And it looks realistic! 

So I thought that was kindovan achievement :P

My next but not last (It's actually my last) assignment was to create an image/
character and set it in 6 different thumbnail environments~
Meaning the picture didn't have to be detailed and should be rough~
Time that should've been spent on this was 20-30 minutes or something my teach
said~ I spent either 1-2 hours on this...Cause...Yeah, hi Internet Surfability (???)
So yeah, enjoy this last piece of work you'll be seeing... :D

...From this course! :D Theres actually one more assignment but I've chosen not to post

it up cause it just looks embarrassing =0=" Soo bad. But anyway! That's the end of

that course!!! Yays! So all up, according to my knowledge, I got a 29/31 for my course..

Ok I think! Apparently my main weakness was technicality! Which was the use of the

things he taught us -,-" Kinda gay, but hey I'm new to them! So...Take that!~ *Smug face

I did very well to excellent though in effort and creativeness! So...That's ok. Anyway!

It was great doing that course! But now it's up to me with how I'm gonna use it...

And now I'm back to looking for work...Sucks! Anyway, Will blog again soon hopes!
