Chapter#6

Alot of drawings done lately! Very good! Very good!
Unfortunately I cannot unveil too much, since I err, think I shouldn't...Lol!
Anyways!~ Here's a quick drawing I did for afew characters for Hell'o'Ween~

The character on the left is one whom I actually had a dream of, once~
I would say it was more of a nightmare, but I think nightmares are just another
form of 'excitement' for me~ Yes, I'm sick. Haha! But yeah. I'm into horror
movies as such, so don't expect it to be so out of the ordinary for me.
And the character on the right is a character from a random doodle I did in school,
if Mr Vui remembers...You were there....In psych...Lolol. Anyway!~


And another quick update on the character afew posts ago~
He's a 'metal' type of person~
So he tends to have alot of metal
accessories on him...He also has random parts of metal sticking out of
him, example, his ribs here as you can see~
So yeah. Updates more on that later.

Lastly, here's another series I'm making~

I'm currently focusing on a picture for it at the moment!

Chapter#5

Wow, Chapter#4 is so gay ==" Regret posting it...Lols!

Anyway!~ So like, do you guys remember the universe picture

I made in Chapter#2? (Click if not). Well, here's the updated/

probably finished version of it~ All colorful and stuff~
Added sparkles, lights, planets, and shooting stars~

The original before was way too contrasted and the red

just burned through my pupils *o* So I changed it to a more
'pretty' pink, which makes it look forever so magical~

 

Magical, no?~

So anyway!~ That's probably that! I really cannot be bothered with putting a model up
in there, and I don't really think I'll need to learn those techniques, so yeah...
That's the end for that picture (:

In other news!~ So, I don't think anyone here following me has visited my DeviantArt yet?

The heads above from left to right, row to row, is Yenni, Me :O, Melissa, Huy, and~

The just completed the line art for this person~ Yuni. These were used for random
outlines for me to practice and develop my coloring techniques in Photoshop~

Chapter#3

Alright, so not much been happenin' lately...Unfortunately ):

These are a couple of colored sketches I'm doing for a story

of mine, currently (It is so not called this) called Hell'o'Ween~

Lol, the character designs look so shitty...Lol.
It's a first-hand drawing anyway~
So there's still crazy heaps of development to do, so yeah, anyway~
The girl looks like a dopey bitch at the moment...But she's suppose to
have these eyes...You probably won't understand me but I'll blabber anyway...
These eyes that...Look droopey, but sharp at the same time...
In saying this, it shows a dark past that continues to haunt her to this present day.
Anyway, the story focuses on a dreadful Love story between...
Haha, no spoilers for you yet, but anyway! (Huy: *SIGHS ==" Am I right? Haha)

Anyway!~ (Wow, I say anyway alot...) Moving along...
The sketch below is another random drawing of me and my friends~

I'm thinking of actually creating a project which depicts many fictional and
non-fictional stories of our time together because we have so many good
times hanging out with eachother...What's that?

Chapter#2

Soo here's a w.i.p (work in progress) of the doodle I made at work.
(Check Blog Chapter#1 for details). Still working on it, so yeah...

On other news, soo at work, while I was bored working, I found this book on the shelves 

entitled Photoshop~ Now it wasn't the title that intrigued me, but the

interesting and fascinating sexy image on the cover...

Cool aye!~ Inspired, I took a quick read...Then took it home...
No I did not steal it because I did not inform anyone or pay for it.....ANYWAY!~
Inside was a how-to-do tutorial, and I wasted no time and gave it a try~
Here's what I got so far...

Lols! Surprised no chick?
Learned how to make / combine space crap into one pic...In 5 minutes. Lol!
And that's all I could do before I got sleepy, haha! Good stuff...
Would like to continue, but I cannot, be bothered cropping out a pic of anyone
to put in this pic, so I skipped importing a character into the image and yeah....
I'll continue it another day, haha.

Chapter: 1.5

So work experience lasted for 3 days.

Day 1, Bun got me to use a new program I've never used before, called Corel.
My task for the day was to use the all-user friendly pen tool~
I've never once touched the pen tool....Never had to, never needed to...
But today...I was forced to ==" So I spent hours mastering the pen tool,
tracing a picture of Son Goku :D. And no. I don't have a pic of it here with me...
Not worth it...Anyway! That was day 1!~

Day 2! First thing in the morning!......He gave me a very difficult task to perform =="
Which was to design a business card...For a client ==" HIS, client...
Making me do his work, that son of a-- Joke!
It was a great opportunity to test my abilities to see how far my skills have taken me~
But there was a catch~ I was only allowed to spend ONE freagin' hour to complete it =="
AND, I also had to use another program, WHICH I've never used before! Called Illustrator.
Not like that sounded impossible enough, but what the client needed was so wtf?
She required:
- A logo design similar to her previous designs (Easy, and check~)
- The letter B in the name of the logo to be shaped as a torso (Uh, what?~)
- Requires an apple inside of the B (Sorry, wah?~)
Yeah,...Funnn...So these were the designs I came up with!~

First Design:
Sloppy drawing of torso...Haven't mastered the pen tool yet...

Second Design (Supervisor's Vers.)
Tidied version of first design by supervisor Bun.

Third Design:
Incorporated speech bubble like things from her previous designs.
Put an apple in her. And drew life signals, to signify apples as a healthy diet.

Fourth Design (Supervisor's Vers.)
Tidied version of three. Apparently mine was too 'cartoony' & 'creative' for the
business card. Key knowledge learnt; when it comes to business card designs
the design does not matter. Only effectiveness of the card (Display of information).

So that was that...Done in 3-4 hrs...LOL! Fail. Oh well! What did you expect
from a noob like me xD But yeah, good stuff. What made my day that day, was
the boss came up to us and pointed to the 4th (Bun's/Supervisor's) Design and asked
"I like this!~ It looks really good!"
*Shattered.* Then!...
"But who did this one? I like this one more but." *Points to my 3rd design*
*In my head: Woooooooooo!!!~

And yeah, that was my day.

Chapter#1

My first Blog Postttt~ Woooo~ ...
Lol. So letss seeeee~...Oh, before we continue, just thought you should know,
since I did art, I was inspired to put everything I thought of onto paper...
So everything I write here is everything I'm thinking at the moment...
So expect alot of jibber japper and reading....Enjoy! :D

Just a couple weeks ago, I did work experience with my brother's friend, named Bun~
It was pretty cool....Days were long...So were the hours...Pretty bor- Jokes.
But I got alot of knowledge from it and lots of experience of what it's like,
working in the real world, as a real Graphic Designer. Was pretty easy, breezy~
But the only thing I didn't do there, was work face to face with the clients, which was
apparently the hardest/scariest thing to do, since you gotta create ideas out of thin air
when they expect a design from you. While Bun and his boss Peter worked with their
clients, I just did random doodlings and sketches while I awaited them.
Here's one of em~

Yeah, the middle and top one didn't go so well...LOL.

Afterwards, I spoke to Bun about how I sucked when it came to landscape drawings.
So I requested for him to show me some of his landscape drawings cause I've seen em
before and they totally rock. Really unique and stylish backgrounds!...But I just realized
the drawing I got back from him is of the sky....Not really landscape...But is still kool!~

Love his detail in clouds...And really love the interesting position of the sun...
Cause i usually just do childish stuff and just sit it back in the corner of the background...

He then requested me, to do some drawings. For practice. If not.
And this is what I got...
Face is abit (ALOT) dimented, but that comes with drawing with a pen sometimes -,-"

Inspired by his detailed drawings, the rock. And you can't see it by the sun is in the bottom left corner...A positioning of the sun I've never pulled off before...But looks kool ass!~ Too bad you can't see. Lolz.

Overall, good stuff! Working with Bun@work experience~
His boss is awesome, got free home made meals, and learned heaps every day.
